Site Update

Hey, everyone, hope you’re all having a good week.

I just wanted to announce that I’ve updated my 2017 portfolio page, which you can find here.  There’s at least one original up for grabs on there, and I will continually update as pieces finish.

I decided to switch back to oils for the time being, so I’m playing catchup work on some old pieces, some oil commissions in progress, etc. Follow me on Facebook or Instagram for updates and progress pics of the work! I am about 100 short of 1k followers on Instagram, and I will be holding a serious giveaway once I reach the goal! More will be announced as I get closer to that time.

(The painting in the top of this post is “Spaceadelic 1” – acrylic on canvas 2017)

Thanks for looking/reading. Wishing you all a lovely day,

EmJae

SHOP updates:

Due to some financial difficulties in Dec and Jan, the shop is looking to open in March 2017 rather than next month. Hopefully there won’t be any more delays, and as always you can message/email me about any products you’d like. I’m always interested in suggestions, and I will do custom orders (i.e. Tapestries) if requested.

Weekly Update 12/27/16

Apologies for not updating over the holidays. Between travel and re-adjusting to the flow of this busy season I haven’t had much time to sit at my computer, but better late than never, eh?

As far as shop updates go, there’s not much to say. Now that I’m back in Manistee I am working on putting together some gratitude gift packs for everyone who donated tickets for my RAW Artists showcase, and building up my shop inventory. We are still looking to open sometime in Feb/March 2017 if all goes well.

In the meantime, I am working on live painting applications for the 2017 festival season, poking away at some WIPs starting this past summer/fall, starting some new winter paintings and conceptualizing more ideas for the coming summer.

Wishing you all a happy New Year! May 2017 be a year of growth and change ❤

Starting September off with Some Site Updates!

How’s that title for alliteration, eh?!

Anyways, good evening and happy September, everyone! I really do love this month, as it signifies the coming of the Autumnal Equinox (my favorite season!). While I’d love to spend this whole post gushing over Autumn, I’ve actually got some updates both great and sad to share. So, here we go!

We’ll start with the sad news first – due to some personal conflicts, I wasn’t able to host my mandala color meditation workshop at the 3 Days of Light & Gathering Transformation Festival in Asheville this weekend, and I won’t be able to perform live painting at Dancefestopia in Kansas City next week. I ended up helping a dear friend out of a sticky situation, but the endeavor has rendered me financially incapable of travel for a few months. The mandalas are still online which you can download here, and more will be added in due time!

The exciting news is that I’ve finally set up an official Etsy shop! I’ll be putting all of my traditional paintings and pyrography pieces up within the next few days, and the digital works will follow suit. I’ll continue post links as works get listed, but in the meantime you can check out my 8x10in painting “Birds of Paradise” which is already listed here!

All of my digital art that’s on here will eventually be listed, as soon as I find an affordable and reliable printing service to use (if you have any suggestions, please hit me up).

That’s really all for now, folks! Thanks again for reading and checking out my work. Love and light to you all!

Updates! New Art! Travel!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Just an update- I have a few new pieces up which you can check out here.

This Thursday I leave Los Angeles to spend a few months out on the road. I’m taking my Mandala Color Meditation project to the 3 Days of Light and Gathering Festival in Asheville, NC followed by some live painting at Dancefestopia in Kansas City, MO. After that I’m thinking Denver for a bit, but I’m going to put some intention into getting prints made of all my digital work and linking them up to the site! Lots of progress to look forward to on this next phase of my artistic journey.

That’s all for now, folks! Enjoy your week ~

Love & Light
